BLENDA d.o.o. is an independent Croatian film and television production company founded in 2002, with more than two decades of continuous professional work in documentary filmmaking, television production, service production, and specialized filming. The creative and production identity of BLENDA is inseparably linked to the long-standing experience of its founder, Ivan Cvirn – producer, director of photography, cameraman, drone pilot, and underwater cameraman – who has been active in professional audiovisual production since 1994. Ivan Cvirn began his career as a cameraman at Croatian Radiotelevision (HRT), where he worked from 1995 to 2004 across all key departments – from news and documentary programming to sports, culture, and religious programming. In parallel, he developed a distinctive authorial approach to documentary film and visual storytelling, with internationally awarded projects. Over the years, BLENDA has established itself as a reliable partner for domestic and international television broadcasters, streaming platforms, and production companies, including HRT, RTL, SPTV, National Geographic, BBC, ARD, ZDF, ARTE, NHK Japan, Discovery Channel, Olympic Channel, ORF, RTL, RAI, and many others. Today, BLENDA d.o.o. operates as a full-service production company, capable of delivering projects from concept to final delivery – with a particular focus on documentary content, demanding nature shoots, underwater and aerial filming, and international co-productions.
